First Ascent Foundation

Inspired by the concept of sharing ideas and solutions across industries, the First Ascent Foundation was launched in 2009.  This not-for-profit initiative was designed to provide a dynamic forum for senior leaders to come together from different sectors to explore a contemporary leadership subject.  This unique gathering of delegates generates an exciting discourse and results in a collaboration of ideas, experiences and solutions.

Delegates are further inspired by our guest speakers who are invited to share their real life wisdom and further stimulate the discussion.

The events starts with a networking dinner on the evening before the workshop.  The workshops themselves are limited to approximately 20 delegates to ensure a personal and productive experience for those involved.   Each venue is carefully selected to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience.

Each workshop is summarised in a Foundation Report for attendees.  Previous reports can be found here to give you a flavour of these powerful and thought provoking events.

These uniquely engaging workshops give life-long CPD and networking opportunities for leaders who become part of the ever growing First Ascent network.

Testimonials from previous attendees include:

“An opportunity to spend a day thinking, learning, discussing and re-calibrating on something that will shift your organisation.”

“I do not go to any event quite like the Foundation events.  First Ascent should be applauded for this great approach to business.”

“Really thought provoking.  Given me the space to think with the added benefit of hearing news and ideas from a wide range of speakers and delegates.”

The cost of the Foundation ticket is £225 + vat and includes the networking dinner, accommodation and the workshop (breakfast and lunch included).
