First Ascent presented two workshops at Expo 2009, Cardiff City Hall, on the 3rd and 4th of February 2009. The conference was aimed at leading players in the Welsh Public Sector, to help them drive up collaboration across the public sector and third sector.

First Ascent provided two workshops, each repeated 4 times, over 2 days – on the subjects of "Putting Passion into Persuasion" and "Partnership Working - you cannot hug at arms length".
